Skiing

My favorite winter sport is skiing. Why do I like this? Well, I absolutely love the feeling of whizzing down a steep, powdery hill with the wind whistling in your very cold ears. I have skied since I was three, and I have always loved it. When I have that feeling of cascading down a hill wrapped in snow like a blanket, I call it my Element. This is where I want, yearn, need to be—in the powder or ice, down hills steep or flat, on skis that are waxed. Give me all of that and a nice cabin with warm soup waiting inside, and I will be content for a lifetime.
