Reedsville is a small, quiet town; but, believe it or not, it has its exciting times too!
I live just outside of Reedsville, which is a small town in east-central Wisconsin. I can see the whole of Reedsville from my bedroom window. If there is a baseball game at night, I can see the field lights. If there is a big celebration at the park, I can sometimes even hear the music!
One exciting thing that happens every year is our annual "Fireman's Picnic." There are games where you try to knock over milk jugs by throwing balls. There is another game where you pick a duck, and if you get the right number you get a prize. My favorite game is BINGO! There are also lots of great prizes like stuffed animals and framed celebrity pictures. I love the hamburgers, ice cream, and cheese curds.
Even though we only have a population of about 1,000 people, we even have an ice rink during the winter season. The firefighters take water from their fire truck and make a little pond. When it freezes, it turns into a little slippery ice rink. The ice rink is right across from the park and just in front of the baseball diamond. It is fun to slide on even without skates!
I think Reedsville is a super town, and I wouldn't want to live anywhere else.
